The Rocket Surgeon is a small bicycle workshop, focusing on repairs, servicing, and custom builds. We’re all about hooking the people of Fitzroy up with custom rides suited to their personal styles and budgets, and to passionately restore all the sick and injured bikes that roll through our door back to better than new!
We also offer services of bigger shops, with a wide range of parts and accessories available both in store and on our website. Recently we have also added a fleet of hire bikes for folks looking for a short term ride to see our lovely little part of the world.
Why Brunswick Street?
We absolutely love the community feel of this bustling little street, and do everything we can to give back to the community as much as we receive. We can hardly imagine being in a different area of Melb than Fitzroy — everyone here has taken so kindly to us and shown us so much support over the last four years. We also really appreciate folks from further away who come down to see what makes Brunswick Street so special!

Just off Brunswick Street on Johnson Street, Anthony's utilitarian range of bikes gets the job done and adds such a unique business idea to the area. Anthony has helped us here and there over the years, and was one of the first locals to help us feel part of the community.
Concept Barber Shop
The lads down at this barber shop make the street a better place by doing the concept of a simple barber shop really well — always up for a laugh or a story, and masters at their craft.
